25th April 2021

We were joined by Emily Thornberry MP, Shadow Attorney General, who came to support our campaign to re-elect Labour Councillors in Kingston. She knows how vital it is for our community to have Labour voices, and knows we can win.

Emily said:

“If you want to shake up this council that is complacent and takes people for granted then vote Labour. If you want to send a message to Boris Johnson, that he should go, then vote Labour. Labour councillors will make a difference to the council here in Kingston.”

Labour will put people at the heart of our policies. Our manifesto sets out how we will help Kingston recover from austerity, the pandemic, and years of Lib Dem-Tory mismanagement.

The Lib Dems are running scared of our campaign across the borough and increasingly turning to their ‘can’t win here’ tactical vote message.

The truth is Labour does win in Kingston. Just last year when residents voted in the London elections Labour won across our great borough. The only thing standing in the way of returning Labour councillors is the broken-record narrative from the Lib Dems who choose to intimidate voters with tactical voting threats rather than clean up their act and offer the progressive change that is needed.

Want Labour? Vote Labour.
