Labour at Kingston University's Global Festival

For the past five years Kingston University has held Global Festival - a week long series of events celebrating internationalism and diversity at Kingston University.

Joint Kingston and Surbiton CLP Secretary Krystal Finan invited friends of Labour groups to attend.

Two of the groups able to attend were British Muslim Friends of Labour and Somali Youth for Labour, and Krystal set up a stall on 29th March 2017 with representatives from this group as part of the festival. Together they were able to spread the word among students about how Labour is the party that wants to empower and support all voices.

It was a success, with interested students informed about local Labour campaigns as well as the University Labour society of which Krystal is at the forefront. Since the stall earlier this week, Krystal has already received lots of emails with interested in the University Society and supporting our great friends of Labour groups.
